About the Role 
We are looking for a proactive and technologically adept Contract Manager to assist in the execution of one of our key service contracts. You will be the main point of contact for everyday client questions, manage work orders, and produce compliance and performance reports for monthly contract evaluations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who likes merging customer service, analytical thinking, and reporting, with the possibility of advancing into future operations positions.

 

Responsibilities

​- Review draft scopes of work and compile tender packages.
- Conduct initial discussions and negotiations with subcontractors to clarify terms and conditions.
- Manage the review process to ensure that subcontractor awards are made on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate cost records and report any cost-related issues to Senior Management.
- Assess commercial and contractual risks, and recommend appropriate controls.
- Have a deep understanding of customer experience principles and their relation to business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships, resolve conflicts, negotiate effectively, and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Identify key issues and stakeholders relevant to achieving long-term goals.
- Demonstrate capability in financial management, budget management, and enhancing productivity.

To be considered for this role: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business and Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field is required for this position. 

  • Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in contract management, particularly within the facility management sector, as this will be considered a significant advantage. 

  • Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in negotiating, managing, and administering complex contracts that involve multiple stakeholders. This includes the ability to navigate and reconcile the diverse interests and expectations of all parties involved. 

  • A comprehensive understanding of Australian law and the applicable commercial frameworks is essential to ensure compliance and effective contract execution. 

  • Additionally, strong leadership skills are crucial for guiding teams and driving project success. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional analytical abilities to assess contract performance and risks, along with superior stakeholder engagement skills to foster positive relationships and facilitate communication among all parties involved.

  • Hold a current Australian Driver’s License
